Just a quick admiration blog post for Carrie Hayes, fashion designer and fellow BizStart alumnus. Behold: The Geode Dress! I've been thinking about this dress for months, since she gave us a preview of her Spring 2010 "Icelandic Geology" line last winter. The print is so unique and earthy and the cut so simple and flattering. Wouldn't this be the perfect summer dress? I have a vision of wearing it with sandals and riding my bike through the park, on my way to Clafouti for tarts and coffee. Look at that...I've already bought it in my mind. Dangerous!---
